Over the last two years I have been slowly rebuilding my basement with the center piece being my 220 gallon tank. It was quite a slow process built I am really happy with how it turned out. I'll post progress photos from start to finish.
 
Before I even started to rip apart the basement I started getting the tank into place so I could figure out how to lay out the basement.

few months later the subfloor is down and it was time to start doing some aquascape

So apparently I lost a bunch of photos so the time is going to jump alot here..

So fast forward even more now. The dry wall Is up down stairs and I can finally start the plumbing. I went with eshop over flows and love them

Things are coming to life now. Trying to figure out a way to make all the wires look nice.

At this point I had a few fish in the tank but had not transfered the upstairs tank to the 225 yet
