225g build tank water swap

I currently have a 135g established reef running , I am upsizing this week to a 225g cus as like most of us we just need a bigger tank! My question is how do a make a smooth transaction considering I need to add almost 100 gal? I have more than enough live rock to seed 225g. what kind of time frame am I looking at before it would be established enough to add my coral ?

Are you just swapping tanks? If so then you might have a small cycle but as long as the live rock stays live then probably not.... I wouldn't reuse any sand though......

If it would be ok to just swap out I would, but my concern is the 100gal of new water I will have to add . I don't know if that would be to much of a shock to the coral .

As long as the alk and ph don't swing too much you should be good

What are your actual plans for the migration?

I'm not real sure I have never done a swap this big or with this much coral . I was hoping to get some help here from someone who knows or has made this transition . Obviously to get my current water in the new tank and 50% of my live rock the coral has to go with it to . That's why I'm wondering what my best plan of attack is gonna be .

No it's going about 6 feet away from my existing tank to make the transition a little easier on me
