Sorry guys I missed these thread updates notifications.

Things are really humming along now. Added a biota regal angel and two paired biota mandarin dragonettes as well as three more Bimacs females.

How many chromis do you have? Where ghey came from? Qted?

How many chromis do you have? Where ghey came from? Qted?
I have 10 chromis which I qted myself. I ran them through tea tree oil and lost two during that process and then another two to some ammonia spikes trying to run 14 through a 29 gallon QT. I have tested my system after they have been in it for about 2 months and aquabiomics says I do not have uronema. It may have worked!

They've been in the tank now for about 4 months and I haven't lost any and they've all put on a lot of weight and gotten much healthier. They live inside of the rrc goldenrod anacropora at night or when scared. So awesome to see.

Did you just throw the regal angel into your display? I hear they come pretty small from biota?

Yes it was quite small. One inch. I kept it and the way tinier mandarin dragonets in a large acclimation box for around a month before one escaped and I couldn't catch it. At that point watching it for a while I thought it was safe to release. They've been released and fine now for four months. Only fish that worried me was the niger trigger and the MP40s worried me a bit. It does well and is growing decently fast.

It's been a quiet summer of just letting things grow. Added five super high end frags I'm psyched for to settle in:
TGC acrolandia
RRC angry Birds
JF solar flare
JF homewrecker
Vivid insanity

Calcium has been off the charts high for one and a half months and I can't figure out why so I just turned off dosing of that two part head. Letting it stabilize and doing water changes to try to slowly bring it back around. Nitrates and phosphates are running away from me a bit and it's about time to add a good ATS to drop them. Phosphate is around 0.5 ppm and nitrate is around 20-30 ppm. Otherwise I've been on vacation ignoring it or just doing standard maintenance on pumps and occasional testing. It is grown in thick and all these pics are from late spring largely. I'll try to update soon with current pics. Some stuff is hurting from the parameters but most are growing crazy fast.

Wow. That's an awesome looking SPS tank. Huge colonies and lots of color.

%$@!!! It's sad when your frag rack is growing SPS better than my display. LOL.

Did a 75g water change and things are much happier. Got Ca down to 575 but after the change found my nitrates are still 36 ppm and my phosphate is 0.48. Holy moly! Time for a scrubber already!

JF jolt top down. Can't quite get the tip colors right through camera. It's blue not purple. That's the UV light I'm sure.

Last one is vivid rainbows a little blued out. But not far.

Absolutely love this tank!! What's your fish stock list at this point?
1 CBB
3 pyramid butterflies
1 biota regal angel
1 niger trigger
1 pair biota Mandarin dragonettes
1 yellow belly blue hippo tang
1 desjardini tang
1 yellow tang
1 purple Tang
1 two spot bristletooth tang
1 pintail wrasse
6 bimaculatis anthias
10 green chromis

What I've lost in the last year was my Midas Blenny (unknown causes. Maybe Vortech? He always had worms), and an exquisite wrasse lost to deteriorating after a unknown spinal injury

Sounds like a super active tank! If you get the chance, I'd love to see a video of those guys!
