A year ago I completely tore my tank down (9 months old at the time) to deal with a crypto problem that had slipped in past my qt efforts. It was a lot of work but I'm not sorry at all about my choices. After grow out I'm not sure I would do it again.

It's a reef octopus cr5000, 9". It's over rated for my tank but I dose a lot. Running it on a ph controller.

Nice, was it easy to setup? I got a Vertex RX-C 6D Calcium Reactor from brs for my 180, didn't set it up yet.

Not too bad, I watched some videos and had a friend walk me through it, I'm still dropping my ph and monitoring. I would not attempt one without a ph controller but some do.
