Went to bed at 3am! I call 4 of my friends last night and got that beast on the stand . That’s a heavy tank ! I never been so stressed out about moving a tank .....

So the water movement in the tank will all be from the back side. What will you be using? I think it’s a perfect application for the gyres.

thanks, that helps. RedSea places them on the bottom so you have to take the tank out first.

We pulled the stand out the places the tank on it and sled it back in the spot. Everybody says that it’s to tight of a fit! Now I’m thinking about opening the wall. But idk

I think it definitely looks nice like the tank was made to go in that spot! It may make maintenance a little more of a pain though. Like scraping the side glass or messing with the overflow.

Thanks for your input ! I plan on putting dark black tint on the 2 sides so I don’t have to scrape it. It’s going to turn purple anyways hopefully . I guess once the tank is plumbed and set I won’t have to mess with the overflow at all finger crossed !

Wonderful! I ordered the Peninsula 5526. Couple questions if I may. Which freight company delivered your tank and did you open and inspect your tank while the driver was there? How does that work?
