So...I'm planning on putting a 230 g tank that in a wall in my basement and use a 125 that I had as a freshwater aquarium as my sump.

My question is, the location that I want to put this tank is in the same room/area in my basement as my furnace and hot water heater. Will the extra humidity cause issues with my furnace?

TIA

My fish room/sump room is in my basement in the same area as the furnace. It has been like that for over two years and there is no sign of any problems.

The airflow the furnace generates helps push the humidity to the other parts of the house... I actually built my 220 around a cold air return in order to suck the humidity out of the fully enclosed cabinetry around the tank...
