What are those worm like things in pictures no 2 and no 3 above ?

I originally went looking for the large black ones. .
Saw these and thought they were interesting .
The guy at the lfs which I trust to say whether it was reef safe or not . Claims it’s safe .

After a very long time battling red flatworms
I have put off dosing flatworm exit thinking they will eventually go away .

so in that time I have added
Mel wrasse , 2 springeri damsel , green spotted mandarin and 3 blue velvet nudi that I have never see after .

I was just looking around in the tank and noticed .
there are no red flatworms in my tank .
Something worked but what was it ?

I have never seen any of them pick at the rocks other than the mandarin

I wonder if the nudis made it or if the wrasses found them

When my 40g had flatworms, I just put my six line in there and he made quick work of them

I bought 2 sixline wrasses and they hid in the back until they disappeared never to be seen .

Stopped at fragbox for rowaphos and to check out a few more sticks .

My wife messaged me this morning asking what’s wrong with her blue fish .

she’s never saw the spiky fin sticking up .

As much as I’d love to restock with 1000’s worth of corals . I’m debating switching to fish only .

I’ve started adding sand but having a coral water Angelfish restricts any lps .

even caught the blue tang picking a open brain

the only thing safe is sps , zoas , gsp and Xenia .

Sps are usually safe around medium-large angels. 12"emperor can break the braches off from what I was told from an sps farmer. He settled with the regal angelfish. I can link build thread if you ever want it.

Zoas are so beautiful. I don’t know what gsp are off the top of my head and I know Xenia’s are so so pretty!! My bf told me I can have them because they are a weed lol

I think you can have a beautiful tank with those types and the fish you’d like.

so Far …. Great.
even crabs , snails , shrimp have been safe .
I’ve never had any issues with a pink tail. They’re said to be the best in terms of reef safe ( but risk of eating shrimps , crabs etc.

I Haven’t decided yet .
I prefer the corals over fish only .
and we all know once a reefer , you can’t just stop .
There will be more corals .
Perhaps time to look into why this tank isn’t the same as the 90 was . And why all of a sudden there is issues keeping sps alive .

Corals are kicking my butt recently, so I think you know how I feel. haha!
