I'm currently planning an in wall 180cm x 70cm x 70cm (70.8 in x 27.5in x 27.5in) 882 liter/233 gallon tank with a basement fish room. This is going into a new house we are building. I'm considering where to put the return and overflow in order to have an uninterrupted view since I will only have a view from the front glass.

I am thinking of a return on one end and the overflow on the other. Do you guys think this will flow properly? I would appreciate any thoughts or comments. Thanks!

I don't see any problems with the design. You should get great circulation and surface skimming.

Would there be any more benefit to having the overflow and return on the back glass for a built in aquarium?
