Hello all,
New to the forum and would like to introduce myself and my tank set up. I currently live in Beavercreek Ohio, I started in the hobby in 1992 in Okinawa Japan (Kadena AFB). Now I just recently retired this past December from the service and finally have my last and final set up. I had the unfortunate and fortunate opportunity over the years to set up and tear down numerous tanks due to reassignments about every 4 years. I learned a lot over the years from each set up and including the one that I have now. The tank is a 230 gallon 1 thick aquarium made by Midwest aquarium and has been running since Dec 2012. I had a unfortunately had a leaky gasket in the close loop a few weeks ago and had to drain the entire tank and remove every coral and fish. Lots some anthia and broke some of the SPS but bverything is now back up and running now . I'm currently lighting the tank with 2 g3 pro radions, 2 t5s, 1 build my LED actinic strip and 1 reefbrite actinic strip. The tank also has a 4 stage ghl doser and Geo calcium reactor, MP 60 and a WP 40. I guess the way to start the tread would be with short video of the tank. Hope you all enjoy.
