235g flow

I would suggest looking into gyre pumps myself. How many pumps you will need will all depend on your rock scape and kind of personal preference as well. You want to try and eliminate any dead spots.

Faced with those two choices I would go with 4 mp40. It’s a wide tank at 30”, and you’ll have more dead spots with 2 mp60. And with an sps tank, you’ll have a lot more overall chaotic flow from 4 point sources than 2.

Thanks, but I’m not interested in gyres. From what I’ve seen, the maintenance required isn’t worth it.

This was my thought as well.

I don't know what you have seen, but I use the Jebao Crossflow pumps, and they require hardly any maintenance at all. I should clean them more often, but the performance hasn't been affected as of yet.

Between those two options, definitely the MP40's. Gyres move a lot of water and cleaning isn't hard really, but it does need to be frequent to keep them pushing the most water. So if cleaning powerheads isn't your thing, stick with the vortechs.
