Hello. First and foremost I'm glad to be part of this community. Look forward to learning a lot.
I'm new to marine aquariums and I'm trying to start off right. I'm taking my time and investing financially to assure a successful build. I'm a big "diy" guy so of course this means doing my own personal build from ground up.
I've got a 40 gal breeder I'm going to install the shadow 16" overflow on. I've built my own sump out of an old 20 gal tank I had. I'm going to spare everything else for now cause my question is more light specific.
So I recently bought 3 24" exotic panorama pros off of Craig's list. The person I bought them from said one should be perfect for my tank. Anyway. The 3 fixtures are set up different. One fixture only has 3 light strips. One fixture has 5 light strips. The last fixture has 7 light strips. I'm aware I can change the number of strips in a fixture. I also believe I have multiple white led strips and multiple blue.
What I was wondering is....
first. Will these lights be sufficient for my tank. I'm looking to do a mix of fish and lps.
Also. Does anyone have experience with these lights and what do they think the best set up for my tank will be.
Thanks for any help
