Well I am thinking of setting a 24 gallon nano cube. This is an old one. I have had it forever. So I was looking at it yesterday and noticed that it does not have a return pump.
I have a newer maxijet1200 but it has a weird adapter on it and will not fit in the return chamber.
So I am reaching out to ask what would be equivalent and would fit in the return chamber?
Please let me know your ideas and success I am not trying to break the bank either.
Thanks

I do not know the size of your return chamber - but this is really small 2.5″ x 1.5″ x 2.3″ (LWH) I use this in my GFO reactor - have works very well.

This one is also a good choice 3 5/8″ x 2 1/8″ x 3 1/4″ (LWH), 4 3/4″ L with strainer attached. It is with the new controller - possible to use an external 1-10 V signal. My skimmer pump, my biofilter pump and my return pump is of this type - all of them working good

Sincerely Lasse

Thanks for the input.
I am not sure what size it is either I guess I should measure it when I get home.
It seems everything has gone to a dc pump. I am just looking for something that has been tried and true around 300gph to a little more.
Thanks

Did you take the "weird adapter" off and see if it will fit? Otherwise I sicce 1.0 is my suggestion.

I cannot take the adapter thing off it is built on the actual piece it is like for an air line. I will post pictures when I get home from work. This suggestion might not be too bad I will look into it.
Is there any rio pumps that do about the same gph?

I run a WB 20 so not sure what your back chambers look like but I would look into an intank media rack for the back chambers.

In my WB 20 I run an intank media basket in first chamber consisting of filter floss, carbon and chemipure secon chamber skimmer ditch filter socks unless you wanna change then everyday!!!

This is the one I have now and you can see in the picture the air line hose coming off.
I was thinking in the first chamber carbon. Might get an media basket. Second cheato and the third return pump. I took the hood off and will be using a black box led

Yeah I know that. It is more like the air tubing on the out put not the input I will add a picture later when I get home it seems like it is more for the power head then the pump portion and I only have the one peice
