24 hours after using carbon for first time - blinded by the light!

My tank is almost a year old and I have never used carbon before and have done minimal water changes. I knew the water was starting to look yellow in a bucket so I bought a dual reactor on sale for Black Friday to try carbon and gfo. Not even 24 hours later I get home from work and I realize I had forgotten what clear water looked like. It felt like I had doubled the intensity of my lights. I turned them down 20% for now and may go lower tomorrow. I just hope I did not burn anything.

I do like to add slowly. So keep an eye on the coral for the next few days.

My candy canes HATE gfo. Lol.
