A quick shot of this crazy looking scoly. Seen Red ones, green ones, but never a GOLDEN Scolymia.

It's weird, cause what we call a Scolymia here in the states, in Indo, they call a Cynaria. The correct scientific term fro this piece is: Cynaria Desheysiana, or "Donut" coral.

In the past, I've purchased this type of coral from several LFS and the wholesalers, and everyone calls them a Scoly. But talking with the supplier, they say that it's a Cynaria. I think I'll just start calling them "Donut" corals from now on :)

Either way, this piece is super nice :D If anyone else can chime in on Iding this thing, post what you think! Thanks.

Kinda looks like a cynaria to me? Either way, I will say that thats the only one with that coloration Ive ever seen :smile:
