I am currently shopping around to find the right set of lights to get some corals started in my tank. I haven't found a good set of lights without breaking bank. I currently have a 24" coralife set of lights that fit right on the hood. I can't seem to find something that puts out more watts for the maximum growth for coral. Anyone know any good lights that I can put on top of the cover or any lights that will fit an awkward shaped tank?

What type of lighting are you wanting to do and how big is the hood?

The hood fits only a 24" set of lights. I've been looking at LED and T5 which ones that will work the best for corals

The coralife set i have right now can almost go double the width to fit rest of the hood. I was looking at it today and I'm just struggling to find a good set to grow simple corals. I'm hoping to find a good set that can be easy to set the timers for and alternate the light source
