24" or 36" XHO on 36" tank

So I've got an Aquatic Life T5/LED hybrid fixture over my 40 breeder. Currently I've got 2x 24" Reefbrite XHO's with the T5's but I've been considering swapping them for 36" version to have "edge to edge" coverage.

I'm wondering what y'all's thoughts are on this. I have mostly SPS high in the tank and then misc LPS/Zoas lower in the tank. I am placing coral pretty close to the edges, which is why I'm thinking about doing this.

Any thoughts or comments?

Would honestly depend on the height you have your lights at honestly. I have a 4' t5 with 3 blue xhos over our 5' tank and have had 0 issue with light but my lights are also over a foot above my tank.
