I bought this recently to supplement with my xho blue on my ati t5 fixture. I like it but I think I like my blues together better then the combo and I don't want to buy a second one. It really pops out green and puts a pretty violet cast into the water. It sells for $187.50. No more than a couple weeks use on it. I'll let it go for $160 picked up or $170 shipped.

These r cool lights. I talked to the builder at reefbrite about them. They don't provide the corals with required light spectrum. Quoting him. They just look super cool on the corals.

Good luck with sale

They lowered the price of it. I can offer you $100 shipped.

Are you kidding me. They lower the price maybe $30 to $160 for a brand new light and you want me to sell you a virtually brand new light and me pay to ship it for $100, lol? No. I dont appreciate being lowballed

Don't get ur panties in a bunch. This is not a light most people will purposely buy (as u indicated, not even u likes the combo). And as someone stated, there is no benefit to corals from this spectrum. It's just a fun light. So if u don't want to sell it for what I offered u say "no thanks" and then u sit on it till u realize it's only worth X amount to someone else (maybe even less than my offer) no matter how new it is and u either put it to use or let it go. Simple as that. It's not a lowball but a bonfide offer.

Dodgerblew I apologize for de-railing your thread . I think ppl should read the rules .

It is you who are in the wrong . U might want to try using proper etiquette and following forums rules before stating something as rude as " Don't get ur panties in a bunch".
It's his for sale thread . U don't like his price, in the future you might want to move on .

As per Kristsa of R2R

Buyers
  • Questions regarding brand, type, size, etc. by those who are genuinely interested in buying the item are allowed. However, questions about price (including alternative offers that are lower than posted price) or critiques of the sale should be directed to PM.
  • Posts that are deemed to be attempts to intentionally derail and harm the seller's thread will not be permitted.
Please remember that the sales forum is a benefit of the community and if there are any questions please feel free to PM any staff member.

Thank you. I am also aware of the rules as well as plain common decency which the overly sensitive zoanutty apparently doesn't.

Mods, please delete this thread. I'll sell my item elsewhere. Mods please take note. I really like r2r. I've learned a lot and the vendors are more then great. However buying and selling on this forum has been a nightmare. I've bought and had to dispute purchases with PayPal due to sellers actions, winning and then getting negative feedback from seller as well as feedback being dishonest (and being a gentleman my feedback was nuetral without slamming seller only suggesting to others to ask about weather before he ships corals to avoid what I went through) and not getting it removed when I ask you to remove. Now, I have to deal with this. I do think at times RC's rules are a little tight but I also don't need to deal with this. Thank you

If saying I don't appreciate being lowballed creates the kind of response you gave, I can't imagine what direction you take things when someone actually disrespects you.

I never said I don't like the combo I said I prefer the look of two blues better then the combo of one blue and one UVA. As a Reefbrite user I can also tell you they are all "fun" lights. They're supplemental not a primary source. This light makes corals pop. It brings out the greens, yellow and cooler colors far better then the blues which brings out warmer colors better imho. It also looks very nice over softies, very nice. Good luck in your search for your new "useless toy" lol.
