24" tank stand height- skimmer compatibility issues.

hi everyone,

currently building a 200 imp gallon reef tank and I am struggling to find a skimmer to fit into my stand, the height in the stand is around 24" give or take and most skimmers I am looking at are already this tall or taller.

I currently have a sump from the previous owner that has overflows on either end which meet in the middle for the return section, I could use two smaller skimmers in each return zone but I didn't want to have them out of balance or incur issues setting them up identical as my plans were to have the overflows returning in the same corner and running left to right as such or vice versa.

Any ideas would be brilliant as I would like a skimmer for more than 1000 litres.

have also thought about a separate cabinet with an external skimmer plumbed in through the stand into the sump too so that might be the only option.

You might be able to put a Hang on Back skimmer depending on your space in the sump area

Thank you for all your ideas. I will take a look, might be an issue living in England but I have already had a look at the tunze which I can get in this country.

Any reviews of those skimmers? Have any of you guys had them or use them?

I have not used a Tunze. I just remember them as being a shorter skimmer.
