I currently have a 240 (96x24x24) with one durso overflow at one of the ends. I got the fish tank used a few months ago and once I added everything I noticed a haze on the inside of the glass that makes some spots a blur. So finally making the plunge and having a tank built. I was going to go with ReefSavvy but it was a little over 2k more than SCA. I did get quotes from a few others but SCA's customer service has been amazing and that's actually what made me go with them.

Before I put in the order I would like some of your guys opinions on which overflow system I should go with. I currently have them doing 2 overflow boxes off centered in the back of the tank for durso system. All my tanks have been durso style so that's the only reason honestly.

Thanks in advance.

Are you asking about a weir box vs the internal acrylic ones, or plumbing style? My next tanks will be weir boxes with 3 drain (bean animal) set up, the first for simplicity in build and the second because I want it silent and stable.

Yea any style recommendation honestly. I did forget about the bean animal setup. I didn't want to have plumbing behind the tank but now thinking about it I think I might like that better. Especially with these ghost or synergy overflow boxes. Just not too familiar with the setup but I'll do my homework. Thanks

Yeah, planning two tanks actually with one as a peninsula. you can see the same style weir in use.

Three 1.5" bulkheads for a beananimal drain. Check out my build thread for an example.

I just had a custom tank built and I did two returns on each side of my overflow.. my overflow is Synergy Shadow and I LOVE IT!! You can't get better, and any more low profile than the Shadow

I have heard the Shadow is very noisy unless you keep the water level very high. Is that true or have they made improvements to the back of the box? I'm considering one on a small cube that I plan to drill but the noise issue has kept me from going forward.
