Looking to buy a 240 gallon rimless from glass cages.com. it will be 48x48x24 tall.
I have 2 radions I've bought in preparation for lighting needs, but im hoping on supplementing them with either t5s, metal halides, or more radions.
What are your ideas for setting up?
I have a reef angel to control whatever I set up.
I plan on a minimal look, and have it hanging from a ceiling.
I plan on LPS dominant, like I have now, but of course, I'll end up getting stick crazy and want SPS.

Sounds like a fun size tank. Center overflow? I'd love to have that in the center of a room.

Im actuality doing an external overflow with a weir cut in the back. I'll most likely cut teeth along the back edge

That will be a nice tank. I have reefbreeders 48" on my 120 and 75 tanks. They are programmable which I like. Some shun "Chinese" units like these, but I've been really happy with mine and my corals grow like crazy.

I bought a lumina glisten (pretty much a reef breeder) and I used it on a 20 gallon tall. Im gonna be putting it on a 50 gallon rimless that will be connected to the 240 through the living room wall. Man am I excited

Exciting! Best of luck and have fun with it. Planning and building is half the fun for me.....
