Everything is looking great!

I also have a larger system and am thinking of switching over to doing less water changes and am thinking about the moonshiners. You still really liking it? Not doing water changes or if you are, how often and what %?
Thanks!

Nice build. Awesome Frag Tanks. Have you gotten the Calcium Reactor up and running yet. I was curious how you like the Deltec?

Thank you! Yes I like it. I still hand dose everything. It only takes a few minutes. Even though I have extra DOS pumps not doing anything. Have you read the handbook yet? I went from weekly 55 gallon water changes to 55 gallons every 6-8 weeks. And that’s just to vacuum the sand bed or detritus in the bare bottoms. I don’t have a nutrient issue. And when I do I’m dosing nitrate. On that note I love my clear water algae scrubber.

Thank you! These are my first acrylic tanks. I love them but even with no sand and being super careful I still have a few scratches. I made one just moving a snail once. I’ve been running the Deltec for probably a year now. I really like. It’s my first calcium reactor. Super easy to run once setup. Getting all the air out of the system took a few try’s on initial setup. But other than that it’s been smooth sailing. Adjusting for Alk consumption takes a push of a few buttons and done. I highly recommend one.

I have read it. I am going to be sending in an ATI test here soon to get started on some things.

Nice didn't know you do the moonshiners love that method have noticed a big difference in my corals. Got a question what is that super orange mushroom that you posted its in the background?

I started it in March I believe. Same here. That mushroom is a no name as far as I know. I took it on trade a few years ago. But i have to say it’s one of if not the brightest I’ve seen. Anyone who’s into mushrooms picks one up when they come over. For $20 how can you not … lol.

Found this today stuck to a empty snail shell. I have the shell in a cup until I can get a ID. I believe he’s in it. Even with a QT system he made it in the tank. I’m really surprised.
