its there any way to take from the top pic without show the lights in the pictures?
im still learning so any help would be apricieted.
 
anybody has any pionters of how to take pictures from the top without getting the glare?
 
I just move the light till the reflection is out of frame.

Cropping is almost always needed to get a shot with good light on the subject, Im sure there are more effective ways but this works for me
 
You could also block the glare with something like cardboard as long as it doesn't block the tank light (try angling the cardboard). I've used my hand in some cases.

i got some baby maxima clams the other day.they are acclimating well to the tank.
i will post pics later on.
