Anyone see any problems here?

Cherub Angel
Firefish (purple, exquisite or helfrichi)
Melanurus Wrasse
Assessor basslet
Coral banded shrimp

If no problems, what order should i add everything?

not sure on how nicely the angel will play with the assessor and firefish. I’ve never kept a Pygmy tho
From what ive heard and read they are only aggressive with other dwarf angels. They only get 3 inches.

i've definitely seen people say their pygmy angels are pretty aggressive to the point of having to rehome them sometimes. angels are pretty boisterous fish. the aggression will likely be ramped up in such a small tank. i'm not saying you can't do it, but that'd be my concern

Hi! Cherub angel enthusiast here, the angel will be just fine with the others on your list (assuming you switch the melanurus with a smaller wrasse as suggested above). The coral banded may cause issues as it grows (believe me, they get MASSIVE) because it could begin to prey upon small fish (such as your wrasse/angel). I would switch that out with a fire shrimp to avoid any potential complications :) your list sounds beautiful!

Nice! Thanks. The cherubs seem like such cool little fish, cant wait to get one. Looks like the melanurus is out. Would a yellow coral banded be an issue? They only get 1 1/2"

That would not be an issue, I have handled regular Caribbean coral banded as for years and I can attest, the large ones can cause some pretty significant damage. The yellow ones are very cute though!

Asking for my own tank.. I was under the impression cherubs need a larger tank?

Nope. I originally had mine in my 45 but he was always lost looking and eventually lost his appetite. He was either stock still or frantically swimming around (I actually took him out and QTed because I thought he was sick). I noticed that in the QT, he appeared much better on the first day and for the first time actually looked happy. So I put him in my 20 peninsula and he has been a happy and model citizen ever since. He actually exhibits ‘play’ behavior with the clowns and photobombs me all the time. The only reasonable conclusion I’ve come to is that the 45 was too big and he simply felt lost. He was in there for 2 months and acted wrong the whole time so this is the only logical conclusion I’ve been able to come to. Couple group shots of the fish fam!

Thanks for the advise, love the tank!

Update:

Assessors Basslet
Firefish
Pink streaked wrasse
Captive bred mandarin
Yellow coral banded

Is anything on that list gonna kill the little yellow coral banded? thats really all im worried about at this point.

I will however be getting a captive bread Cherub for my frag tank. Watch someone give me detritus for putting a 1"-2.5" inch fish all alone in a 25x15x8 tank. While they have 15 8"-18" tangs, angels and wrasse in a 72" 180 gallon bumping into eachother and corals all day. Drrr I have a 180, i can do whatever i want... OK SeaWorld. Im ready for that debate so bring it on, the math is on my side.
