Hi! I'm planning to get into the hobby and wanted to get critique of that I have planned so far. I'm also planning to get Arag-Alive Bahamas Oolite as the sand and use red sea coral pro salt. Thanks!

That strong??? The box for the 50w says 10-50gal50w is too small of a heater. Im pretty sure it comes with a pump too
you need a minimum of 125w but 150-200w its the ideal range for you
I'll check them out! ThanksFor heater brand I highly recommend Eheim brand. They’re very durable and built to last. Plus they’re quite a bit cheaper
I agree with SlugSnorter. 50 watt is too small. 100 watt would be the absolute least I would use for this aquarium. Figure on at least 3-5 watts per gallon. I didn't know you could buy AquaEL in the states. I've only seen them marketed as Cobalt Neo-Therms. I own two of the older model Cobalt Neo-Therm 100s and they are excellent heaters. The new ones are supposed to have improved thermoplastics as the old ones sometimes split on the seam. The issue you may have with the AquaEL, if you go with the 100, is height. I was going to use one of my Cobalts in my Mini Pen 15 but it is a tad too tall to stay fully submerged in the second chamber. If I remember correctly the Mini Pen 25 is a couple inches taller so it would probably work fine. That strong??? The box for the 50w says 10-50gal
125 w, I'd say to be the minimum. 100w could lead to issues if it gets colderI agree with SlugSnorter. 50 watt is too small. 100 watt would be the absolute least I would use for this aquarium. Eheim heaters are indeed excellent.
