I am still on the planing page of this system. It will be a 1500 gallon reef (12 feet by 4 feet by 4 feet) and a 900 gallon fowlr (10 feet by 3 feet by 4 feet) plumed together in a unknown sump size. I have a few questions for my planning stage.

1. What skimmer can be in this? Should it be 1 2000 gallon skimmer? Or 2 1000 gallon skimmers? Can you guys help me find a brand that has huge skimmers?

2. In my fowlr I will be having 6 triggers niger, picasso, blue thoat, pink tailed, red tailed aka sargassam, and a crosshatch trigger. I chose these triggers because they are docile for a trigger and stay small. Will there be a problem if I introduce them last and when they are all the same size such as 3 inches?

3. Because I am doing these huge tanks with thick glass how can I get power heads? I talked to my LFS witch is very knowledgeable and they said the glass would be too thick and the power heads magnets won't be strong enough. How can I get more flow ?

1) That seems way overkill for a skimmer. You're probably NOT going to need a skimmer rated 10-15 times the size of your water system.
2) There shouldn't be a problem, though I'm not sure why you want a 900 gallon tank for small triggers...
3) Probably going to want some inline pumps for a closed loop system. Submersible is technically still possible, just you're going to have to rely on really good suction cups or some sort of custom built fixture. You're probably going to want at least 10 times the gallonage in gallons per hour. And that's only because of the sheer size of your water system. Otherwise, you would want at least 20, if not 30-40 times the gallons per hour as your gallons.

I highly suggest you do a LOT more research before starting this project of yours. I'm working on a 1000 gallon tank (not including rest of the water in system) and it's already a huge logistical problem despite trying to work it out over a course of months. I also hope you realize that this will be running you at least 20,000 dollars, assuming you get everything as cheap as possible. I shudder at the mere thought of the monthly upkeep. And water changed, my goodness!

I'm doing so much Research I am still on the planing page. As for the 900 gallon fowlr there will be 7 angels and a dozen butterflys plus an eel, puffer lionfish ect. that is why it is so big and I want peaceful triggers so they don't bully my butterflys. I KINDA got the other maintness problems under control. There will be a sump room behind the tank and the tank will be in the basement so the house structurally won't have any strain. My service works with tanks this large 1000-2000. There isn't any reward without hardworking to get there.;)

Ehhh, lionfish with a trigger is just asking for trouble. Lionfish with butterflies or pufferfish is also just risking it. All three of those will be willing to peck at the lionfish, and if they mess up they're goners. Otherwise the lionfish gets an infection and dies.
No matter what you say, a 2500 gallon system WILL cause strain on your household structures. That's 21,400 pounds right there. You're going to need structural support even without including the sump.

I dare not calculate an estimated monthly expense for you. I'd say $500-$1000 a month wouldn't be surprising if you weren't extremely frugal. But if you do get this going I demand pics ;P
