.

I've already got the food locked and ready! Was told to wait several days so hadn't yet. Got my turkey baster ready. I wish Pura lived close!! I'd be driving there now handing my cc and my safe to fix her!!

I was saying I have the food ready ( I made a mix of different foods suggested) ( frozen) ready to feed her when she opens. I was told not to feed her the first day home. She was not able to be fed last few days. Then I said I wish Pura- the one who has the nem hospital lived near me as I would basically give her my savings to help out my anemone. :)

Idk about not feeding right away. But i can see why...i feed mine right away so it knew she had food source where she was at

Yea I wanted to so bad but was told not to. I researched all night too when I got her to prepare myself ( granted I thought she was a BTA) and it said the same. Let them settle and then baste the food onto tentacles. Haven't had the chance to hopefully she opens soon. She's sealed shut still.

I know you were feeding to much earlier on which could be the cause of your ammonia reading is that going down when you check? Sorry you're having trouble! Hope your nem recovers!

No I'm pretty sure she's gone. She's mush. It looked like blood coming out of her mouth ( know it wasn't ) and her insides came out. They said there would generally be some traces of ammonia but I've literally just been feeding the babies a pellet at a time to make sure none gets wasted. Lots of poo though all of a sudden. We added a Blenny yesterday. His name is Blenny Chesney. Between the clowns and him, there's poo everywhere. I tried to feed her some last night and it appeared she was eating it as she curled back up trying to get the food in her mouth ( she had opened back up ). Then this morning she's was goo and inside out. Still doesn't smell so maybe one more day. Praying. :(

Pics. I'd like to see how she looks to help you more

I agree with domination and would love to see a current pic of your situation. Anemones will exhaust all the water in themselves to refresh themselves. ive even done squeeze methods to safe sick Anemones. The fact she opened is great. I'm figuring the foot has gone from a pink to white and as long as it doesn't go grey things are still on the right track

Still could come around she's not stinking or coming apart! Sometimes they make remarkable recoveries..torches are the same way!

If I was you, I will take plastic cup, drill a lot of hold for water can go thru then put the NEM in there, attach to the wall of the tank by magnet cleaner for treatment, I won't feed the NEM until it healthy, place the plastic can to the medium light with light current flow. For prepare his toxin release to the water, I will replace new carbon for every 2 weeks.
I have a lot of weak NEM as tear apart, no foot before but it is still alive. The main thing I need to do is keep the tank stabilize, the NEM will cover by himself.

Ok good news! Sorry for delay I was out slanging houses all day. She opened up and her core is full again! Mouth closed! She's still in her basket but it looks like she's trying to crawl out. I put it a little lower in the water. Still no smell. Not. Giving. Up!!
