250gal reef from Poland

most beautiful tank I have ever seen. what do you use for flow? I see a gyre and some others. what settings? I cannot get my flow right with my two gyres. what equipment do you use. just curious would love to know more about your tank and husbandry. I am still learning but aspire to have a tank like yours one day. :-)

This is a beautiful tank. I've been looking at the Aquaforest method but it looks like it could get expensive with all of the additives.

Thank you all for good words. That's keep me motivated to make every week 10% water change ... ;)
This a a short video (not profi) over the reef from my phone :) Pls use FullHD and 60fps that make the difference

wow  amazing. I did not understand how they enlighten the tub during the day; which is the combination of bulbs?
I use giesemann (Aquaforest fixture 8×54W+ 6x54W) tubes 9 actinic blue, 2 super purple 1aquablue azure , 1 white
1 pure actinic.

I have two tunze 6105 (old school for 6 years) with multicontroler and gyre 150

Not at all. It is very cost effective. Products are very efficient and concentrate so you will have them for long time. Inside the bottles there is a real product that works it is not just water with some adds ;)
Try and you will see the difference. Like always when you change the products have on mind to start from not more than half of recommended dose. 1 drop by 100l it is for tank with average coral cast like mine. Some people have 2 corals and put all this additives and there is nothing to consume all that :)

Always observe your tank.

ok; and led? when you use them during the day? Also what is often the sandy bottom? as you keep it clean?

I don't have leds anymore ... sand is clean by itself... biological filtration. Time to time I mix the sand with a stick at night time. Food for corals ...

With the gyre I use the last program ( gyre?)
I had 12x54W T5 + 3x75W Led. Led was just an add not the main source of light. Now I have 14x54W without the LED.
In my opinion Sps corals have better colors and growth under t5 light.
