25mm pump adaptor fits what size PVC?

This Fiji pump comes with a 25mm slip fitting. Does that mean it will use a 1/2 inch PVC pipe or a 3/4? Pictures are below. I have an aquatop nano 24 that im upgrading the return pump to a DC. But this Pluming drives me insane.

Many aquarium parts are made in Europe or other parts of the world where they use metric sizing. I believe that 25mm is slightly less than 3/4. You may need an adapter to go from metric to nominal (i.e., North American piping standard) if you choose to hard plumb it. Otherwise you should be able to use one of the barb fittings. Peace River thank you so much! This was such a huge help, I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. Those adaptors are perfect!
