Hi my name is dallen and I’m new to the saltwater hobby. I’ve experimented with fresher water and planted aquariums and want to move to salt water. I plan to start with a 20 gallon reef with either a pair of clownfish or a fire goby and some soft corals and mushrooms to really get a feel for the reef hobby before hand. The tank I am talking about will definitely be a future dream tank but I just want to get an idea around stocking. My dream tank is a 275 gallon reef community tank, I plan to stock it with these fish.
Black ocellaris Clownfish pair
Percula Clownfish pair
Royal gramma
Blue tang
Yellow tang
Dwarf flame angel
Banggai cardinalfish pair
Fire fish goby
Six line wrasse
One spot foxface
Flasher wrasse
Is this too much? And as for corals I would do a lot of soft, mushroom, leather, stag, zoanthids and bubble corals. ive read that multiple clown fish pairs can be tricky so if they don’t work together I would choose the percula pair over the black ocellaris . Any comments?
