What are the dimensions of what you're covering? If you go the route of cutting the rock then each piece of rubble gets cut in half and can be used twice. However, you have to be really careful when doing this. You're cutting rocks so if you have a bad blade or wrong kind of blade then it can break which is obviously dangerous.

Another thing to consider is rock walls can cause nutrient issues with inadequate flow (just like any rock will with inadequate flow). since it's on the back, you may have to get creative with power head placement to avoid this. If the tank is sps dominate then there is probably going to be enough flow everywhere to prevent any sort of problem, just something to consider

My tank dimension are 20x20x16, and I'll be covering the back wall and overflow as well as one side wall. I doubt that I cut the rubble rock unless it is too large and would be an easy cut, but we shall see.

That is definitely something to consider. My initial plan was to put one MP10 on the back wall towards the top right. My return pump lock line would be blowing out of the back wall towards the top left. I would think that would be adequate flow but I would always consider adding another MP10, though I'm not sure that would be needed.
I'm sure an MP 10 is enough, they move some serious water. I picked up 10 pounds the other day and here it is spread out and it fit 20x20 almost exactly. I didn't do anything to make it fit together here, I just dumped it on the ground, and nothing's been cut.

I'll probably pick up 25 pounds so I can cover both walls with no gaps. Also, anything left over will be used in the main aquascape that I plan to build.
You definitely want to get more than you need so you have plenty to look through and find just the right piece for the right spot. Like you said, extra can end up in the display or in the sump

The LFS will pay for it and they will personally guarantee that there won't be any phosphates leached during the initial cycle. This tank is truly going to make Deep Blue aquariums great again.

Just as a little update, I've decided to hold off on constructing the wall for now because I want to use live rock for it and not dry.
That's tricky to do because silicone won't cure properly if both the rock and the tank aren't completely dry. If you want to make a wall with live rock you'd have to use a different adhesive

I'm not using silicone since the tank dimensions are so small. My plan is to spray the foam directly on the glass and place the rocks directly onto the foam. I'll let it cure for 24-36 hours and then put water in it.

Just personal preference, I suppose. I like the fact that live rock will speed up the cycle process.

Well I agree but if the live rock is out of water for to long it will die
Just use live sand and live rock for like the island or whatever and for the back wall use dead live rock this way ur not rushing to get the back wall done and end up taking longer to cycle the tank just my opinion
