28 gallon nano cube/Wavemaker/Smartwave setup help

So I am stuck on this. I have a nano cube it has two returns. I also have Hydor Koralia Nano Aquarium Circulation Pump, 240 and a 425. i recently got the smartwave maker. I set it up on the pic attached. I have have the two filter returns left and right side. I have the 240 in the right back bottom shooting up and the 425 in the front right shooting straight across the tank. I got plug adapters to create 4 plugs vs 2 on the smart wave. I plugged the filter returns on one set and the wave makers on another. I set the setting to alternate "1" and the timer to 1 min. Does that sound like a good wavemaker setup? if you click on the picture I have labeled how its setup. This is how my tank is built rocks are about half way up the tank not quiet as high as this picture.

Welcome to R2R!

Is this a JBJ tank? If so, I used to have the same model. I would only recommend one change. Try setting the timer for 5 minutes. This gives the pumps enough time to create a current before the current reverses.

I am not sure how can I tell ? It is not a biocube. It says Nanocube bottom right corner I am assuming they only make nanocubes. So I should through the returns on the wavemaker? I just upped it to 5 minutes before I left the house funny you said that great minds think alike

Yep, if it says Nanocube then it's a JBJ.
The returns should not be on the wavemaker, otherwise you will be constantly interrupting the flow through your media basket.
