Hey all! Though i would start a tank build. I'm coming back to the reef scene after 5 years. I am currently setting up a 29 Biocube and will have pics to post once i start putting it together. I decided to keep things really simple with this build and see where it goes. Open any and all suggestions as the tech in the hobby has changed so much since I've been gone. Excited to be back!

Equipment-
29 Biocube
AI Hydra 26 HD
Koralia Nano
Eheim Jager heater
20lb of life rock
20lb of Indo pacific live sand
Aquaticlife LED for refugium
And will be running Chemi-Pure Blue

Got it up and running last night. So excited to start adding things!

It came out great! What are your current plans for it? Any upgrade plans? How did your equipment choices affect this build?

Thanks! There have been a few (or a lot) of changes through the life of this. The original tank started leaking from the back seam so it was replaced with a 32 biocube. I replace the following
-return pump: IM mighty jet DC pump with IM spin stream
-heater is now a Finnex titanium with inkbird temp controller
-flow is now provided by a MP10QD with battery backup
-added two part dosing via Jeabao two head doser, dosing BRS ALK and Cal
-replaced the filtration with Intank media and refugium baskets, running IM ChaetoMax LED
-added Autoaqua Smart ATO micro

All these changes added up to some great coral growth, so much so that I recently (before these pics) thinned out the tank and completely stock a 36 bowfront full of coral. pics of the 36 will be below.

I am now building a 75g system as an upgrade, that will house my Dwarf Lions (36 bow). All the equipment on my biocube will be used to start a new SPS system.

Here is the tank that was completely stocked by the growth from my biocube. It currently houses two Fuzzy Dwarf Lions named Pork Chop and Applesauce. This is now a dedicated softie tank.
