Hey guys. After 3 months of my tank running with literally no issues I ran into my first problem. My tank sits in the room right next to my kitchen, and a few nights ago the girlfriend burned up the microwave pretty bad and a ton of smoke was in the air near my tank. I noticed fairly immediately that my coral began to close up and my smaller (weaker and was already kinda strange) clown started acting weird. Long story short, I did a big water change and lost the little guy. My coral is completely opened back up now so I think I avoided a big issue with my quick water change (and about 6 fans blowing it away from my tank). My question to you guys now is this: What should I do stock wise now? I currently just have the 1 Percula Snowflake Clown. I have considered a few options:

1. Find another snowflake clown and stay the course

2. Find a different kind of clown that I like and keep it with my current (Not even sure if this is fine)

3. Stay with 1 clown, and get a few other singles (Midas Blenny, Cardinal) etc.

I am open to any and all ideas here and just need some guidance!

Thank you!

P.S.- I really really like the Midas Blenny and want to try to get one soon. My tank is a 29 standard. Thanks!

Clowns start out as males. The large dominant fish will be a female. You already have a female. You can probably add any clown of the same species as long as it is small. The catch will be ‘will the female kill the new male in her zeal to establish dominance?’
