29 gallon HOB protein skimmer

Any good suggestions on a protein skimmer for a 29 gallon tank. Prefer to stay close to 100 dollars.

You don't need a skimmer for that size tank, weekly WC will be good enough (5G water change per week).

The need for skimmer on any size tank is subjective, what's your bioload and what's your parameter goals. I'm presently running an algae reactor on my BC29 and it's running better than any of the internal ones that fit in chamber 2. But for a HOB that's a beast, check out the Eshopps HOB psk-75. I've used it on a 30g with a heavy biolad, along with many other tanks for many years; this pup delivers. It is more like $150 range, Eshopps does also make a Nano model in the $100 range that's an internal style.
