29 gallon macro algae recommendations?

I got a 29 gallon standard that’s about finished cycling and I’ve decided to do a macro display tank instead of a lot of live rock. I’m only going to place about 20lbs of rock in it. Probably about 3-4 undecided fish, maybe a Fire Fish or something peaceful like that. Absolutely no damsels, clowns or wrasse.

What are some types of macro that makes for a nice display without crazy take over. I thought about the sample red and green packs from Gulf Coast Ecosystems.

Red Palm, Dragons Breath Halimeda, and Blue Hypnea are some of my favorite decoratives. Acetabularia and Neomeris are also cool additions but the former doesn't usually last very long

I have mixed garden macro lagoons and I love the ease of maintenance. Yes, to Gulf Coast EcoSystems. Yes, to contrasting reds & greens. I like Christmas colors all year. Caulerpa Prolifera resembles Oae Grass with then emerald green blades undulating in the currents. Red macros are abundant: Gracilaria Hayi, Bortacladia and Halymenia are good choices. I do not like getting bits & pieces in sample packs.

Keep Prolifera in the substrate. It’s holdfast are difficult to remove if it gets on choice live rock.

Beautiful macroalgae, well suited for a display tank. The tips fluoresce under the right lighting.

PomPom Macroalgae

Another beautiful macroalgae, well suited for the display tank or the refugium. Under the right conditions, will double in volume every week. It is often misrepresented as dragons breathe macroalgae.

I've actually decided to make it an LPS tank since my 40 is going full SPS.
