I have a 29 gallon fish tank and I do not know what stand to get.

That's a great idea. Store bought stands will do the trick; but a homemade stand made correctly can be MUCH stronger than the alternative. That being said, I'd never do it. But only cause I'm 60 and don't want to fuss with it. But I had a hand in bracing up and existing stand to hold a 90g rather than a 75g. It was fun! .....But I was in my 40's. And willing to do what needed to be done myself.

I’ve made lots of stands, that tank is about 30” …
If you aren’t handy I hate to recommend Petco and Petsmart but for a standard sized stand, that’s the easiest option IMO
