It’s wet.

Glad to see you got water in there!

A lot of little tweaking to do. Night and day from the larger tanks. Everything is so dang small.

Little later when I take my skimmer offline for the 220, Ill do a side to side comparison to the aquaticlife 115.

I have a couple hundred asterina starfish in my 220 so I added a handful to see how they do.

Auto top off is complete.

Had to dremel the back of the hood to get the float valve to fit.

Struggling a bit with the skimmer. Not a fan of so far. I have put it aside for the time being.

Was curious to know how old my B&W clowns are. Going back to 3reef I found the post when I got them. October 4, 2010. 13 years old.

These will be the main attraction of this tank.

For flow I was wondering about using my Gyre 4k from my 220 and run it at about 20% or so. Is this overkill?
Gyres set to 25% and doing just fine. No need for an alternative powerhead. Happy about that.

Clowns have acclimated nicely so far.

Frogspawn, green plating monti and green/orange mushrooms as struggling big time.

I’m contributing this to being the down grade (I guess) from AI Hydra 52 to older style T5 out of the box lighting. Don’t think there’s much I can do here.

ESHOPPS skimmer comes tomorrow.

ATO seems to be working well.

I have a lot of electrical organization to do when everything is working properly. Debating locating all electrical equipment inside the cabinet for a cleaner look. Also looking to replace my plug in GFCI with an outlet that is wired. I will have an extra laying around from the 220 downstairs.

She’s happy we have a tank upstairs. Makes me forget the 220 was thing looking forward to stocking this the way it should be. I’ve learned a lot over 16 years in this hobby and can’t wait to do it right

It was previously on there and still purple when given too me. I think it might come back, at least I hope so.
It will come regardless but I hope you got a jump start.

So fun for your daughter I bet.

Tank is looking good Dan!
Appreciate that.

Shes always helped me with my tank and doing water changes. Now its upstairs, it appreciated and viewed all day vs the little bit of time spent downstairs. Its also closer to eye level for her.

A future reefer!
Lucky kid….
Nice DT
Thanks.

She loves fishing with me too. We try to go a couple times a week.

Recently got into fly fishing and she loves watching me cast and learn about the flies.

ESHOPPS skimmer showed and fits very well. Bubbling up as I would expect. Very happy so far. Report back after break in period and some weekly maintenance.

Got a new glass cleaner. Not very strong magnetic however. We shall see if it lasts.
