I set this tank up in january, it has been going pretty well ever since. just got over some red slime, and almost had an ick problem but garlic extreme works surprisingly well.

I purchased my sun coral when it was in very bad shape about a week ago. It had been brought into my lfs in bad shape. It took a few days to open up, and still only opens around when its time to turn the lights out. Im aware it's primarily nocturnal but I heard it will open during the day with the feeding schedule.

I've been feeding it just about every other day. I also use photo plankton twice a week, not sure if that helps. It seems to be doing rather well I need to get a better target feeding set up in order to feed it daily. I've been using a turkey baster and turning the pump off, but i never seem to be able to get food in all the heads.

Great lookin' tank! Love the rock work!
Thanks I did a lot of aquascaping research before setting this tank up. I think I did all right with it, but wish it looked more natural, and had less areas off rock that are to dark for stuff to grow well in.

Any tips for how to get the purple mushrooms off my rock? I've tryed covering them to get them to move, but it didn't work. I don't wanna have to remove the rocks

Lookin' good! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice! Great job and I love the linkia. :)

Good looking cube! Welcome to R2R. For the shrooms maybe a scalpel will work... I have never tried to remove them so maybe someone that has can chime in. Do you want them gone for good or just in a different spot?

Made the trip out to that fish place today. Only bought a power head because I'm broke. gotta say they were a little week compared to what i was expecting they had a few nice non photosynthetics and quite the collecting of large frags but has nothing in a reasonable size or price. way to much neon green corals.

Bought a few new corals the other days pics coming soon.

corky finger gorgonian
white and blue favia(not sure on specific name)
blue, and red acan(I think not 100% sure on this one)

updated my tank a bit. Got a few new corals and a new LED lighting system. My camera lens cant handle the new new lights so the corals looks a little washed out in the pictures.
