For people that have a 29g cube or something similar how to you run your lights daily? Right now I have a 2 clown fish and a diamond watchman goby, a mushroom, and a small polyp frag. I was reading a post that was from 2010 yesterday and they were talking about running blue LEDs all day if you had a room that was well lit with sunlight and nothing else. I never could find out for sure but they may have been talking about LEDs that were added, like Steve's or Rapid's, instead of the 3 small blues that come stock with the stock (non-hqi) tank.

I wouldn't do that your Gona get a lot of algee on your glass due to the spectrum of the sun , do you have stock power compacts or stock LEDs on your bio cube ?

Yes I have the stock power compact lights and the stock 1 bar of 3 blue LEDs. The room is well lit during the day by sunlight but the windows are on the opposite side of the room from my tank. So I wouldn't say it gets any direct sunlight.

I run mine longer than most people recommend. I don't have anything close to stock lighting or even a biocube. It's a 30g innovative marine nuvo.

U still need to run yur light. Ambiant(spelling) lights is not enough. I have panorama pros over my tank amd my stock moon lights are always on then blues come on at 10 and rampup to full power by 1030 then white come o at 1030 then ramp up to full power at 11 and then they reverse and whites start to dim down at 930 follwed by blues dimming down at 10
