2k or 4k?

Helping a friend set up a standard 150, 72x18, but I have no experience with gyre style circulation pumps. Tank will have a 2000 gph return that will be split to 2 return lines and will be a mixed reef with mainly LPS but a few SPS and some zoas. I'm thinking that 2 of the ice cap 2k gyres with the new controller will be just fine but looking for advice on if we should go with 4k. Also can you run 1 4k and 1 2k on the same controller?

I'd go with the Icecap 4k on 6 foot tank. I have one on a 4ft tank. You can always turn down the gyre to 50% and be around the max flow that the 2k can provide. The 4K gives you the option if you want more flow for any particular reason.

Yes, you can control a 4k and 2k Icecap gyre on one controller. I'm thinking of getting a 2k to supplement my 4k pump as well right now.
