2nd pump for new refugium or one pump for both DT and refugium?

I am going to add a 40 gallon refugium to my 120-gallon system. Would you recommend a second pump in the sump or a single pump for both tanks? The refugium will be behind the wall and around the corner a bit in a long walkthrough closet in our house.

Also, I am using an open non-baffled tank for my sump right now but am considering getting a baffled sump. If I added a second pump, would you recommend puittinng it in the final chamber with the DT return pump or in the skimmer section? Seems like there would be a lot of flow over the baffle into the final chamber possible creating more noise and potential for bubbles.

More pumps create more heat keep that in mind but also plumbing another take to 1 pump you lose head pressure.you could always build a sump with a fuge in it.

I went with 2 smaller pumps so I could shut off for maintenance. Being able to shut off my manifold pump makes maintenance allot easier and not affect my DT. DC pumps generate very little heat.
