I'd like to ask your opinion of the Kessil Ap700 in my application. I've got a basic garden variety 75 gallon marineland glass box that I've been building into a pretty nice reef system.
I currently have 6x T5 that I'm just not happy with regarding the asthetics - both over the tank and the color I'm getting from the bulbs. I want more control.
1.) Im concerned with the center brace and LEDs. Would one (1) ap700 work on a 48"x18" tank without causing a bunch of nasty shadowing from the center brace? (I think it might work from there being two points of light)
2.) Is one enough? (... and ...Would you consider selling just one for $600 shipped?)
If you don't think this will work and/or are uneasy with this lowball offer
and splitting the two lights up, I completely understand. No hard feeling from this end.
