Hello everyone. I have 2 250W 10k MH that hang about a foot above my tank. The tank is around 4 foot deep. Most of my corals do great under these lights (frogspawn, hammer, BTA, Duncans). However, whenever I try and add either LPS or a zoa, they brown out and shrink and dont grow. I put them at the very bottom of my tank, and they still die. Is it possible that my lighting is too strong for these? Is there a way to fix this?

WOW 4ft deep ,well then you need more light. Or did you mean 4ft long.?

I had a similar problem with 2x250 HQI + VHOs.
So I stepped back to 2x150 And now its all good.
