3/23/2021 Just planted my first Acroporas

I've tried to educate myself to the level that my idiocy will permit before taking the plunge.

I have been really trying to nail down the whole alk thing and tracking consumption.

I sure hope I don't kill them.

I'm in the same boat, but I don't even track the consumption yet. Felt that being just tiny little frags, they aren't really going to have noticeable consumption for awhile. My salt like most has all the appropriate levels, so I keep to regular water changes and figure it'll be what it'll be until they get some decent growth, and then I need to start paying attention

Are you still using matrix, chemipure and purigen?

No. But I do like that approach.
Since I started my DIY UAS (updraft algae scrubber) now just using floss, chemi pure and teddy bear poly stuffing. Ditched all Bio media. But I have some chunky reef rock.

In my Pico I use a heater and an air pump with100% weekly WC.
