35mm. I just drilled a 10gal for an external refugium. Fit perfectly with BRS ¾” bulkhead.

This is for a saltwater mixing station for a brute trash can - not sure if that makes a difference? Don’t think they will have metric at the hardware store but I will check.

Its for the bulkhead so it doesnt matter where you use it. In general if you buy drill bit (hole saw) there is metric measurements written on them.

Looks like the big box hardware store only has 32mm or 38mm

Just do the conversion. 35 mm=1 3/8”.
