I started my 90 gallon aquavim tank in April. I had always wanted another fish tank, especially a saltwater tank, since my freshwater tanks growing up. I just retired and had time and money so it was time. I wanted something special and so i searched online and found aTHE tank and cabinet and had them shipped from New York. The first problem was finding help to get it in the house.

I knew Nothing about saltwater except that i needed to do research......and a girl and plumbing???? ....you could make a comedy show out of my fumbling attempts to get this together. Making matters worse, I asked aquavim to set me up with everything I needed. To save shipping, they had taken all of the supporting equipment out of its boxes and didn't send me any instruction manuals.

My tank 6 months later....upgraded lighting and water pumps to Gyre, got a skimmer and ATO...so much to learn...

Still having learning curve regarding corals. My Lobo attacked my duncan. Looked like an alien shooting gross thread stuff out!

Loved Game of Thrones so added the dragon skull. I know...kind of funky...

December 2017 pictures. Added more fish, blenny, dwarf angel and dottyback. Think I am at the fish limit with the yellow tang, 2 clown fish, melanuris wrasse and damsel. They all seem to be getting along fine and doing well. Trying to stabilise parameters. Have alk deficiency problem so dosing it to get it up. Was at 7. Other parameters are good.

What is the red and white one right above the dragon skull?

I am not exactly sure which one you are asking about. I have acans and a Gorgonian I got from the LFS

Midas blenny is so cute! One of my favorite fish.

He is awesome! Really pretty colors, yellow with pink and blue eyes and has so much character! He peeks out and then swims out and around.

I have one and love it. By the way your tank is looking good, can see strains of coraline algae on glass(or acrylic) from some of your picture. Love the non traditional shape.

Thank you! I really feel a sense of accomplishment and love looking at how beautiful salt water coal and fish are

I love that coral. I bought 3 heads and it now has 6. I love to feed it. It loves shrimp and grabs smaller cyclopods and rotifers. Checked the tank with a flashlight one night and thought my 4 in peppermint shrimp was sticking out of it but it was clear so I think the shrimp molted and the sun coral got the shell. I have since seen the shrimp.

The tank seems to look the same but I added a very pretry fox coral. I was also thinking about what I could do on the vertical walls that are bare. I attended some frag sales and researched Leptos, chalice and a couple other entrusting corals to try there. They are currently in my qt.

If I ever upgrade to a next tank, this will be the tank. I like cube- rimless and cylinder tanks; Currently have a Nuvo 40.
What are the dimensions?
Again, awesome set-up!
