hi all, ive recently bought a tank that is pre drilled with 3 1 inch holes and the tank connector reduce down in this connector to 3/4, was looking at increasing the pipe size after the connector to 1.5 inch
the tank is 160 gallon and looking for a 5x turn over, by doing this with the drains and using all 3 as a bean animal overflow and running a return over the back of the tank would i get enough flow
i have a sicce syncra 9.0 dc pump

If two of the 3/4" drains are mains (with the third being the emergency overflow) you'll probably be fine in terms of volume without needing to widen the pipe diameter (which may not make much of a difference since the connector somewhat constricts this at 3/4" anyway). I have a 160-gallon display and it has a single 1" return drain that is more than sufficient for my Sicce SDC 9.0 return pump (I run the pump at 45%, so probably somewhere between 550-650Gph).

A single 3/4" siphon drain will handle 800gph without problem. You'll have to restrict it to keep it from sucking air.

Thanks very much for replies
