I have a 3/8" compression valve (male thread - exactly like picture below)...that I want to connect my 1/4" RO line to. I cannot find a fitting for the life of me at HD/Lowes...or online. I would think this is a pretty common fitting.

Can anyone shed some light on me?

That would not be an easy to find fitting (if there is one). Compression fittings have different threads. I dont know of any fittings that have female compression threads

Yeah that's what I've found out. I thought maybe I could find some sort of adapter to convert from compression to the standard thread, but again struck out on that.

You would be best going from that 3/8 to a reducing compression fitting or a reducing john guest fitting. I would use stainless 3/8 to the reducer to give a cleaner look and more rigidity
