I have a coral beauty and a flame angelfish in a 55 gallon and they get long fine after fighting a little when i first introduced them in the beginning, im wondering if i add a lemon peel angelfish will they eventually get along too or will they both gang up on it and kill it?

FWIW, 20 years ago I had a 60 with a flame, coral beauty, lemon peel, and a halfback angel. I had no issues. Just need plenty of structure. I always added at the end of my light cycle which gave them all night to relax. It worked for me, but every tank is different.

What Waters said. I'm surprised you even got the two to get along. Adding a third would be seriously pushing your luck. I wouldn't risk it.

Did you have to add them all at once or could you put them in separately? Also what happened to your tank?

When I was college student I shared dorm with 3 other guys, but I was much younger and also much smaller ( at least horizontally).

No, I added them over timespan of 8 months.

I ended up breaking down the tank and selling it. I was active duty military and had to move across country and didn’t want to risk everything dying. Again, maybe I was the exception to the rule, but it worked for me.

I agree with the others, you’re pushing your luck already. Adding more to the mix is a risk.
It’s like adding fuel to a burning fire. That won’t stop it, it just increases risk.

There's a good chance they kill the lemon peel. If the lemon peel is significantly larger than the other two they may leave him alone but the tank size may still be an issue. Fwiw, I have several Dwarf Angelfish in a Waterbox 130 and just added a couple lemon peels.

I remember a post on Reddit saying their flame and coral beauty were best buds cuz they hung out together. Actually the fish were constantly sizing each other up… not hanging together.

Anywho, it is certainly risky. Lemon peels are not nearly as reef safe either so that is something to consider.

I would buy a fish trap before hand if you do it.

If you’re dead set on trying you may want to try an acclimation box. It would give you a good idea of how things are going to go. But the yeah you should probably have the fish trap handy too lol.
