It seems I just can't leave things well alone :roll eyes: Another escape to the left hand side rock work, but I think (touching wood!) that I am as happy as I am going to get with this aquarium now. It is definitely more down the "minimalist" route I want to go.

Anyway, some pretty poor FTS photos, of which I will update when I get more time (these babies steal it all!) Excuse the back glass :icon_eek:

I'm a couple of weeks into the new scape now, and pleased to say that nearly all of the corals have kept nice colour and growth, some even improving, being lower down in the tank. The one I do notice that has lost a bit of its flair is my Tenius - the blue tips and coralite edges has paled out slightly, so that's one to keep an eye on for now.

I've moved back to just running MP10s and have shelved the MP40QD for the uprade. I could never get balanced flow with odd pumps, namely due to the MP40 pushing water so well, the MP10s couldn't even attempt to match it - flow was all at the opposite end to the MP40.

Not much else has changed really, I'm just letting the tank run itself as my little one is keeping me plenty busy these days - it's nice to step back some times though as I appreciate it more when I do spend time on it now.

My FFM colony, as well as the frag, have both seen reduced PE lately - not sure what is up with that, but both are still growing.

Here's a couple of pictures for growth and colour reference:

The Red Planet got battered by a fish and snapped off two piece  Still not happy with the colour and growth of this really

This Nana is going really well now, seems to be much happier lower

I trimmed off a growth section of my odd Efflo and have moved the main body on - hoping this frag goes well, and grows more uniformly

The Granulosa is growing, but its colour is so-so, not really changed much since I've had it
